Regular Domestic Cleaning

maids4U professional cleaners are trained to follow a very detailed cleaning system designed to give excellent results consistently over a long period.  Regular cleans start from as little as £60.00 for weekly service, £75.00 for fortnightly service and £90.00 for monthly service.  All prices include cleaning products, consumables, equipment and VAT

Our cleaning system segregates your home into 3 room types and uses a colour system for equipment and product to ensure this segregation is maintained.  The system is based on a well-established protocol used in hospitals and other critical environments and, when combined with a regimented cleaning process and a range of high quality cleaning products chosen specifically for the needs of each room type, we offer a reliable and hygienic and solution to all of your ongoing cleaning requirements.

Red Rooms – Bathrooms, Shower Rooms, En-suites and WC/Cloakrooms

Green Rooms – Kitchens, Utility Rooms, Food Preparation areas

Blue Rooms -  Bedrooms, Public Rooms, Halls, Stairs, General use areas

Our regular cleaning services can be supplemented with additional adhoc services like oven cleaning, deep cleans of specific areas like Kitchens & Bathrooms, and spring cleaning items like venetian blinds and insides of windows

Our teams are flexible and wherever possible we will try to take care of small variations on the day by swapping tasks or adding some time provided this will not have an effect our other customers that day.  For larger variations you can contact our customer service team by email, phone or through our online customer portal and we will schedule an extended or additional visit to suit you

Spring Cleans

You can use our maids4U professionals to undertake a top-to-bottom spring clean. Our staff will take pride in cleaning your home as if it were their own - and typically all it takes is just one day to get it looking immaculate.  Spring cleans start from £175.00 including cleaning products, consumables, equipment and VAT  For instant impact many of our Regular clean customers elect to start service with a full spring clean

We will use the same segregated cleaning system to split your home into areas, concentrating on the same tasks as our Regular Clean, plus we add other items like

• Cleaning insides of windows and window frames
• Moving furniture and washing down gloss work, dusting behind beds, hoovering carpets or cleaning floors as required
• Clean inside cabinets, cupboards and wardrobes
• Clean inside ovens, fridges and kitchen cabinets as requested
• Full degrease of Kitchen surfaces including tops of cabinets, cooker hoods, backsplash areas
• Wash all tiles, floor to ceiling, in bathrooms and toilets.  Remove and clean seals from shower enclosures.  Clean extractor fans.  Treat and remove mould wherever possible
• Scrub, pressure steam clean or polish floors
• Clean silver, brass, china, crystal and other ornaments
• Empty and clean bookcases and display cabinets

Specialist Cleaning Services

In addition to our Regular and Spring clean service we offer other specialist cleans

• Tenancy Cleans – tailored to specific requirements of landlords and tenants. • Pre-market cleans – tailored to preparing a house for sale where a full professional clean can add thousands to the value of your home.  The initial clean can be freshened up periodically on a regular basis or immediately before a viewing
   
• House Moves – Moving out or Moving in cleans are increasingly common with buyers often specifying a professional clean as a condition of sale.  For the seller there is often a desire to leave the property in good condition as a courtesy to the buyer or simply to preserve reputation.  No matter how clean a house appears at viewing a removal of furniture often leaves it looking the worse for wear
   
• Party Cleans –prepare for or reset your home after entertaining
   
• After Builder Cleans – get things back to normal quickly and without fuss.  We have processes and equipment specifically designed to deal with builder’s dust which would normally linger for weeks after the works are completed

Our standard Cleaning Processes

Although we almost never do a standard clean, as most houses and customers have their own bespoke requirements, a typical clean of each room type will involve

Red Rooms – Bathrooms, Shower Rooms, En-suites and WC/Cloakrooms

• Cobweb and high level electrostatic dust
• Empty and clean bins and replace bin liner
• Remove hairs from plug hole
• Wash down tiles/wet wall in wet areas (shower enclosures, baths, sinks)
• Clean shower enclosures / scrub bath and polish glass screens
• Add toilet cleaner, scrub bowl, clean and sanitise all surfaces, flush
• Starting from the door work clockwise round the room cleaning / dusting all surface including fittings, handles, switches and towel rails
• Clean sink & taps
• Vacuum the floor
• Clean and polish mirrors
• Finally steam clean or mop floors as appropriate using antibacterial washroom cleaner

Green Rooms – Kitchens, Utility Rooms, Food Preparation areas

• Cobweb and high level electrostatic dust
• Empty and clean bins and replace bin liner
• Wash or load dishes
• Empty toaster and clean the outsides of all appliances and the inside of microwave.
• Degrease and clean hob and extractor hood
• Starting from the door work clockwise round the room cleaning/degreasing/dusting all surfaces including cupboard fronts, cabinet sides, worktops, backsplashes, fittings, handles, switches and sockets.  Worktop items to be removed, surface cleaned and items replaced
• Clean and shine sink and taps
• Hoover then steam mop or hand mop the floors as appropriate

Blue Rooms -  Bedrooms, Public Rooms, Halls, Stairs, General Use

• Cobweb and high level electrostatic dust
• Empty and clean bins and replace bin liners
• Remove all sofa and armchair cushions wherever possible, hoover up crumbs, hoover or wipe surfaces, replace and plump up all cushions.
• Starting from the door work clockwise round the room cleaning / dusting all surface including furniture, fittings, handles, switches, TV, lamps, pictures and frames.
• Hoover round all edges, under and behind furniture wherever possible, then hoover main floor area
• Clean and polish all mirrors and glass doors
• Mop floors as appropriate
